     Over the past 7 weeks we have filled out TONS of paperwork and made several calls to U.S. immigration and hope we are close to having everything ready to travel to China very soon.  We are waiting for some appointments in China to be made and then we can make all our final arrangements.  The bags are almost completely packed.  Lily Kate's suitcase is almost full--clothes, toys, etc...  It is funny how long we have waited and in one week everything has happened all at once.  As everyone who knows us well knows, we are planners.  Dave plans our trips at least a year in advance to always get the best deal possible so waiting until the very last minute to get overseas plane tickets is driving him crazy.  As excited as we are to meet our new daughter, we are very nervous and overwhelmed by everything we have had to do this past week. Last night we went to Walmart and felt like first time parents again buying diapers, a car seat, sippie cups, bibs, wipes, and so much more.  Everything is different from when Abigail and Drew were babies.  We know once we get on the plane we can relax and enjoy our adventure to bring Lily Kate home.
